ATLANTA — Just as millions of people are set to hit the road for the Thanksgiving holiday, the rain is causing problems for the Monday morning commute.
Just after 10:30 a.m., a wreck blocked several lanes of traffic on I-85 northbound at Pleasantdale Road.
Just before 8 a.m., a possible rollover crash on I-75 southbound near West Paces Ferry Road and Moores Mill Road has multiple lanes blocked.
All lanes were blocked on I-75 southbound at Highway 138 in Clayton County. Motorists were urged to use I-675 as an alternate. The lanes were cleared by 7:30 a.m., but delays lingered.
A car fire earlier in the morning is clearing up, but caused issues for travelers on Interstate 85 southbound before Old National Highway. All lanes were shut down for some time, but a couple are getting by now.
