Tractor-trailer tips over on I-75SB, creates major backup

Here's your way around it.

ATLANTA — A tractor-trailer that tipped over has created major backup and shut down all travel lanes on I-75 southbound right before I-675.

It happened as the tractor-trailer was trying to merge onto I-675.

The wreck has I-75 snarled all the way back towards Mount Zion Road. At this point, no injuries have been reported.

Traffic Tracker Crash Clark said drivers should use I-675 from I-285 to go around the incident and access I-75 southbound. Drivers can also use Tara Blvd or highway 42 to avoid major delays.

Traffic officials are dragging the tractor-trailer out of the road in an effort to get the lanes reopened -- as opposed to getting it back on its wheels.

Officials said the truck was carrying refrigerated goods.
