6-inch water main break impacts DeKalb County area

It happened at Brockett Road and Comanche Drive.

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — A water main break leaked in an area in DeKalb County early Friday morning. 

It happened at Brockett Road and Comanche Drive. 

According to the DeKalb County Department of Watershed Management, crews are working to repair the six-inch water main on Comanche Drive. 

Officials said residents in the area may experience "service interruption."

"If customers experience brown water, they should run their faucets until the water is clear," according to a statement released by a DeKalb County spokesperson.
