Frontier Airlines adding these five new international destinations from Atlanta

Atlanta will now have five additional destinations from the carrier.

ATLANTA — The country's busiest airport is adding new destinations.

Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport is set to more than double its international destinations in a new partnership with Frontier Airlines, a spokesperson with the airport said Tuesday.

The Denver-based airline will now offer service to Nassau, Bahamas, San Salvador, El Salvador, Kingston, Jamaica, San Jose, Costa Rica, and Liberia, Costa Rica, according to a news release.

Frontier will launch their new international service beginning in November and December this year.

“We now offer an extensive range of flight options, including an impressive roster of international destinations, providing Atlanta-area consumers even more opportunities," Jake Filene, a Frontier Airlines senior vice president, said.

This comes less than a year after Frontier Airlines introduced its first international routes from the Atlanta hub to Cancun, Mexico, Montego Bay, Jamaica, and Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the statement says.

They say Frontier is now the second largest international carrier from Atlanta and now serves 36 nonstop destinations out of its airport.
