Flash flood warnings issued for parts of metro Atlanta

Rain has been moving into the area over the last few days and there's also a chance for more showers on Wednesday.

10:55 PM: The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning for DeKalb County. This is in effect until 5 a.m. Wednesday.

The NWS said Ssome locations that could experience  flooding include Decatur, Clarkston, Stone Mountain, Avondale Estates, Lithonia, Pine Lake, Tucker, Belvedere Park, Candler-Mcafee, North Decatur, Mountain Park, Belmont, Redan, Scottdale, Panthersville, Gresham Park and Snapfinger.

10:20 P.M.: A flash flood warning has been issued for Forsyth County. It will last until Wednesday at 4:15 a.m.

The National Weather Service said Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms are producing heavy rain across the warned area. Up to three inches of rain have already fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly. 

Some locations that will experience flooding include Cumming, Sugar Hill, Drew and Ducktown.
