Just a few clouds overhead this evening with a sprinkle or two. Partly sunny skies for today with highs in the upper 80s.
We are tracking a weak cold front moving toward our area. Only a 20% chance for a shower. We will lose that threat with the loss of the daytime heating.
We are not expecting severe weather here, but there is a HIGH risk out west. Parts of the mid-west under a high risk for severe weather which is a 5 out of 5. This is the highest threat. That system is expected to weaken as it moves east.
Tuesday will be a warm day with temps near 90 degrees and abundant sunshine.
A ridge of high pressure over us will keep us hot and relatively dry for much of this week. There could see some broken records by the end of the week.
The 90 degree heat is forecast to stay through the upcoming holiday weekend.
