A few showers around this morning, and we will see more popping up this afternoon as a cold front approaches the area.
It will be another warm day as highs will are forecast to reach the mid 80s.
The Storm Prediction Center has much of our area in a level 1 out of 5 risk for some stronger storms. We don't expect this to be a widespread severe weather event, just an isolated storm or two could turn strong.
Expect a break in the rain late morning and into early in the afternoon, then another round of storms will move in for the middle to late afternoon.
Saturday brings drier conditions to the region with lows in the lower 60s and highs in the lower 80s under a partly to mostly cloudy sky.
Rain chances return for Sunday with scattered showers under a mostly cloudy sky with lows in the 50s and highs in the mid 60s.
Cooler air sticks around on Monday with lows in the 40s and highs in the 60s under a mostly cloudy sky with a slight chance for rain.
We will go on a gradual warming trend starting Tuesday with lows in the 50s and highs in the 70s under a mostly sunny sky.
Expect a partly cloudy to mostly cloudy sky back on Wednesday and Thursday with lows in the 50s and highs in the 70s.
