Atlanta only got up to 77 degrees Sunday afternoon. We broke the streak of highs in the 90s and morning lows at or above 70 degrees. We started off at 67 in Atlanta Sunday morning. That's the coolest morning since July 25th. Our afternoon high of 77 was the coolest afternoon since June 12th when it was 77 degrees.
It will be cooler than average again Monday. I do think we will make it into the low 80s though. We will have mostly cloudy skies with a few showers possible. As the wedge breaks, we will have a better chance for showers and possible thunderstorms Monday evening.
We will continue with a 60% chance for showers and a few thunderstorms on Tuesday. Temperatures will continue to warm up a little more to 84 degrees.
We start to dry out a little by mid week. Wednesday we will have only a 20% chance for a shower with highs up to 87. It looks dry Thursday, Friday and Saturday with high temperatures in the upper 80s.
A low rain chance returns Sunday afternoon at about 30%.
