Discussion:
High pressure has taken over our weather pattern, bringing sunshine and warmth across the southeast. The warm temperatures are here to stay, but the ridge of high pressure will be steadily eroding as a cold front moves in from the west.
Ahead of the front, cloud cover will build in for Tuesday. Mostly cloudy conditions are expected on Tuesday.
The clouds keep temperatures mild through Monday night. We'll wake up to morning lows near 60°. Sunshine will still manage to break through the clouds at times, but Tuesday won't be a picturesque, sunny day like what we enjoyed over the weekend.
High temperatures warm to the low 80s.
Isolated showers and storms will be possible on Wednesday as the cold front moves through, but rain chances remain low at only 20-30%.
While a few showers and storms may be capable of producing heavy rain and lightning, we aren't concerned about a severe weather threat. Storms will be weakening as they move east.
Conditions dry out on Thursday and clouds clear, but the break from rain potential will be short lived. Humidity builds for the end of the week, and a low-end rain chance stays in the forecast Friday through the weekend.
