We had cloud cover build in this afternoon across north Georgia with temperatures still rising into the 70s. Expect cloud cover to thicken up this evening as temperatures fall to the 50s under a mostly cloudy sky.
A slight chance for rain will develop for tomorrow morning with much of the region staying dry, but don't be surprised if you encounter a brief, light shower. Temperatures start in the 50s, but rise into the 70s in the afternoon with temperatures a bit cooler in far north Georgia and near 80° for some spots south of Atlanta.
Saturday will bring lows in the 60s and highs in the upper 70s under a mostly cloudy sky accompanied by a very slight chance for a brief shower, but this shouldn't have a bit impact on any outdoor events.
A nice warming trend continues into Sunday and Monday with lows in the 60s and highs in the 80s under a partly cloudy to mostly sunny sky each day.
Tuesday brings back a slight chance for rain late in the day with lows in the 60s and highs in the mid 80s under a partly cloudy to mostly cloudy sky.
The hottest days of the week will be Wednesday and Thursday with lows in the 60s and highs in the mid 80s under a mostly sunny to partly cloudy sky.
Don't expect much rain this week with some spots missing out on rain completely and everyone getting less than half an inch of rain.
