Discussion:
Another cool start. Chilly in some spots. Temps will start in the low to mid 40s in the metro area. There will be some 30s outside of the city limits.
Plenty of sunshine and a southerly wind will help kick in a warming trend. Highs will reach the 70s for the afternoon. This will be closer to our average high of 75° this time of year.
Rain chances are not impressive this week. We will introduce a 20% chance for some showers Wednesday afternoon and evening as a cold front pushes across the area. Rain will not be widespread, and we don't anticipate any risk for severe weather.
Isolated showers are then possible again Friday through the weekend as temps warm back into the upper 70s and low 80s.
