Isolated thunderstorms tonight with heavy downpours, lots of lightning, and gusty winds.
Monday will start out partly to mostly cloudy. We will likely see widely scattered showers and storms as an upper level low and the associated frontal system moves in increases our instability. We h ave a 70 percent chance for scattered showers and storms through the evening hours.
A 70% chance for strong to severe storms will continue Tuesday- Wednesday as the upper level low continues to spin counter clockwise over North Georgia.
Thursday the low should get pushed off to the east and we should return to a more normal heat-of-the day thunderstorm pattern for the end of the week.
