Rain will continue through the overnight hours especially in far North Georgia. Some local areas may receive as much as 2" as a front moves through North Georgia.
Overnight rain will taper off during the morning commute on Monday. Temps in the morning will be in the mid-40s and Northwesterly winds will be on the increase with gusts up to 25 mph.. Temps warm into the mid-50s by late afternoon but will feel cooler than that due to the gusty winds.
Continuous rain and storm chances then dig in for next week with a 60-80% chance of rain each day into next weekend.
Highest rainfall amounts will be across far north Georgia where 5-7" of rain are possible, isolated spots up to 10" can't be ruled out either. The Atlanta may see 3-4" of rain. The threat for flooding increases next week after the ground saturates and the rainfall numbers add up.
