Tropical Storm Cristobal made landfall Sunday

Tropical storm warning still in effect for north central Gulf coast

Tropical Storm Cristobal made landfall at 6:11pm on Sunday in southeastern Louisiana.

The storm had 50 mph max sustained winds upon landfall with gusts to 6 5mph. Flooding is the main threat as the storm continues to make its way up the Mississippi river valley.

The storm is expected to weaken to a depression by Monday morning.
