Airbnb has activated its Open Homes program to help residents who have been evacuated due to Hurricane Florence.

Hosts in Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia communities can take part in the program and list their homes for free to evacuees and emergency relief workers in the following areas:

  • Georgia: Atlanta Metropolitan Area, Augusta Metropolitan Area
  • North Carolina: Charlotte Metropolitan Area, Greensboro Metropolitan Area
  • South Carolina: Columbia Metropolitan Area, Greenville and Spartanburg Metropolitan Area
  • Virginia: Charlottesville Metropolitan Area

The $0 listings are available until Oct. 1. Airbnb started the program in 2012 during the wake of Hurricane Sandy.

The company has listed the available housing options on its website. There is also information online if you want to help by signing up your home.
