Friday’s severe weather is dropping several inches of rain throughout Georgia.
Sections along the I-75 corridor have been hit with three to five inches of rain this morning. The National Weather Service has issued several flash flood warnings as more rain falls, filling bodies of water. e
If you drive up on water, turn around and do not attempt to drive through it. Turn around and don't drown because water can be deeper than it seems.
Here is a list of areas under flash flood warning and when they expire.
Expiring at 11:30 a.m. | Harris and Troup counties
Several roads are already closed in Troup County because they’re either flooded or washed out in sections.
