Severe weather updates: Hail reported across metro Atlanta after severe weather

There is a very slight risk of tornadoes, but the threat is low.

ATLANTA — Monday could bring severe weather to metro Atlanta and West Georgia. The National Weather Service has indicated both moderate and slight risks. This is all the result of a cold front.

There is an 80% chance for the rain and highs will be in the upper 60s.

TIMELINE | Large hail is concern for Monday severe weather

8:30 PM - After several thunderstorms moved through, many community StormTrackers reported seeing rainbows.

7:57 PM - Several of 11Alive's community StormTrackers are reporting dark clouds and hail from Marietta to Pike County after several pop-up thunderstorms moved through. 

7:50 PM - A new severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for Greene, Hancock, Morgan and Putnam counties until 8:15 p.m.

7:33 PM - A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for Harris, Meriwether, and Troup counties. The warning expires at 8:15 p.m.

6:00 PM - A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for Murray and Whitfield Counties until 6:30 p.m.

5:44 PM - A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for parts of Alabama, including Randolph County, Alabama.
