Heavy rain, winds overnight bring down trees around metro Atlanta

Here's the latest.

ATLANTA — Parts of North Georgia will see scattered showers and strong storms, including in metro Atlanta Wednesday night into early Thursday morning. 

People can see when showers move into their area using live radar. The 11Alive Stormtrackers will also have updates on 11Alive's Roku and FireTV apps.

3:42 a.m. | A woman was reportedly trapped inside a home on Mesa Drive in DeKalb County. She climbed out of a bedroom window when a tree came down.

2:15 a.m. | On Jonesboro Road, a tree fell on a mobile home and wind caused damage to signs and fences in the area.

2:12 a.m. | Down trees were seen in yards and on a car on Rhinehill Road in Atlanta.

11:50 p.m. | Coweta and Fayette counties are experiencing some power outages. There are a little over 5,800 people impacted currently in Coweta County and an estimated 123 outages in Fayette County, according to the Coweta-Fayette power outage map. Additionally, you can track power outages across Atlanta and the metro online here

11:00 p.m. | A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for Fayette, Coweta, Clayton and Spalding counties until 11:30 p.m.
