ATLANTA — We will have a few rounds of rain through Friday with heavy rainfall possibly leading to flooding at times.

There is a Flood Watch for northwest Georgia through Friday afternoon where locally 1 to 3 inches of rain will be possible. The watch was expanded to include more counties in metro Atlanta and extending down to the south and west of Atlanta until 1 pm Friday.

8:14 p.m. | A Severe Thunderstorm warning has been issued for Spalding, Meriwether, Pike, Harris, Talbot and Upson until 9 p.m. 

7:20 p.m. | A Severe Thunderstorm warning has been issued for Troup, Harris and Meriwether counties until 8:15 p.m.

6:55 p.m. | A Severe Thunderstorm warning has for Lee, Chambers, Rusell, Macon and Randolph until 7:15 p.m.
