CHATTAHOOCHEE HILLS, Ga. -- Chattahoochee Hills Police officer Michael Lynch saved a man's life twice in two weeks.

The officer responded to a 991 call of a person down and quickly realized it was an opioid overdose and used Narcan to revive the 54-year-old man. Around two weeks later, it happened again.

Chattahoochee Hills Police started carrying Narcan eight months ago. Officer Lynch said carrying the life-saving medication is essential. Police officers are often the first responders on scenes and every second is essential.
