Falcons agree to terms with veteran D-lineman Terrell McClain

ATLANTA — The Atlanta Falcons agreed to contract terms with defensive lineman Terrell McClain on Friday afternoon.

McClain, a seven-year veteran with the Panthers, Texans, Patriots, Cowboys and Redskins (2011-17), collected two sacks in 12 games with Washington last season. In 2016 with Dallas, McClain recorded career highs with sacks (2.5) and tackles (21).

If McClain should make the Falcons out of training camp, he'll partake in a defensive-line rotation which includes Brooks Reed, Jack Crawford, Grady Jarrett, Takkarist McKinley, Garrison Smith and rookie Deadrin Senat, who agreed to terms with Atlanta on Thursday.
