Falcons Players From Va. Tech React

A number of Virginia Tech football players have moved to the professional ranks. Two of the most widely known are both Atlanta Falcons players.

Quarterback Michael Vick said, "First and foremost, I am shocked and deeply saddened about the tragic loss of life that took place early Monday on the Virginia Tech campus. My thoughts and prayers are with the families and loved ones involved in this terrible tragedy. It is my hope that the university community can pull together to help the students cope with this senseless and unfortunate ordeal.?

Falcons cornerback DeAngelo Hall also played college ball at Virginia Tech.

"Words can?t describe how sad I am right now. Everyone who knows me understands the affinity I have for Virginia Tech. My prayers and thoughts are with all of the loved ones and family members involved in this horrible tragedy," Hall said.
