ATLANTA - Atlanta Police are investigating the early Monday morning shooting death of a security guard at the 'Gold Spa' located at 1916 Piedmont Road.
Around 1:15 am, the unidentified guard was asked to investigating a suspicious person in the rear parking lot of the spa, authorities say. Then employees inside heard as many as seven gun shots. When they investigated, they found the guard lying in the parking lot, shot in the chest. He was rushed to Grady Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police are reportedly looking at a person of interest.
