Discussion:
We bring back our next chance of showers and thunderstorms to the area Tuesday. The storms are forecast to weaken before they reach our area.
We are not currently included in the Storm Prediction Center's severe weather threat. Isolated storms may still be capable of producing heavy rain, lightning, and gusty winds, but storms are expected to stay below severe criteria.
With the scattered showers and storms and mostly cloudy skies through the day, temps will be seasonable in the mid to upper 70s for highs.
A few isolated showers will be possible after midnight but most of the rain holds off until the later hours of the morning commute.
Scattered showers and a few isolated t-storms will continue into the afternoon and evening. Rain chances are 40%, so many will stay dry.
We clear out quickly behind the cold front, and sunshine returns for Wednesday. Temperatures soar for the middle of the week. Highs will climb to the mid to upper 80s Wednesday and Thursday.
Over the weekend, it'll be very summer-like. Afternoons will be warm with scattered showers and storms developing each day.
