Casting Call: EMT working needed for upcoming scenes in 'The Resident'

The 2-day shoot taking place on Friday, Nov. 22 and picking up Monday, Nov. 25 in the Atlanta area.

ATLANTA — Producers are still plugging away at upcoming episodes of FOX’s hit medical drama “The Resident,” and a new casting call reveals they need real life emergency medical technician workers for upcoming scenes.

The Southern Casting Call shared the opportunity from Central Casting Georgia about the 2-day shoot taking place on Friday, November 22 and picking up Monday, November 25 in the Atlanta area.

Here is a description of what casting is looking for :

Looking for a male or female with REAL paramedic or EMT experience to work a very featured role. 

MUST be available for both work dates. 

MUST be a new face to the show.

Actors interested in playing this role should submit their name, number, clear and current photos, and a brief description of their EMT experience to RESIDENT@CENTRALCASTING.COM. Send this information with “EMT” in the subject line.

The medical drama on FOX got picked up for a third season in early May.

The majority of the first and second seasons were filmed in Conyers and at the High Museum of Art in Atlanta.

“The Resident” follows a young doctor who’s paired with a senior resident that is as tough as he is brilliant. It stars Matt Czuchry, Emily VanCamp, Manish Dayal and Bruce Greenwood.
