East Point treats residents to Eats & Beats pop-up performance

Farmers Market hosts free jazz concert during select dates

EAST POINT, Ga. — It’s the perfect remedy after a hectic Humpday. During select dates this month, the city of East Point, in partnership with the East Point Main Street Association, is hosting Eats & Beats.

Eats & Beats is a pop-up event that features the ‘Hole in the Wall’ food truck and long-time jazz performer, and new East Point resident, Denise Kirkland and “Lady D” performing jazz favorites.

These music performances will run from 5-7 p.m. on select Wednesdays in the Spring & Fall.  They are small scale, laid back and free to attend. There will be a few tables and chairs to sit at while you eat some great food from the food truck or farmer's market vendors close-by.

“Eats & Beats” is located at the Downtown Commons and there will be plenty of free parking on site. For more information about future events, visit the city’s website.
