ATLANTA — A woman who robbed one bank on Monday and tried to rob another, struck two more banks on Friday.
According to the FBI, the robberies happened at Georgia’s Own Credit Union in Grayson and Bank of the Ozarks in Douglasville.
On Friday, a woman matching the description of Thursday’s robberies entered the banks accompanied by a black male.
The male suspect was dressed in all black and was wearing a sweatshirt with “AMSC Trailblazer” printed on the front. The female suspect was wearing all black, black sunglasses, and a black wool cap.
Witnesses described the robbers’ vehicle as being either a white Ford minivan with cement or gray paint on the side or a white Chevrolet Suburban.
Monday’s robberies happened within an hour of each other. The suspect showed a note to a teller at the Wells Fargo bank on Memorial Drive in Stone Mountain demanding money. When the robber was denied the money, she left the bank without further incident.
One hour late, the woman entered Associated Credit Union in Ellenwood and again demanded money via a note. Police said she threatened having an explosive device, and told the teller she was robbing the bank "for the movement" and "for the streets."
She was provided an undisclosed amount of money and left.
