A man is behind bars after allegedly shooting and killing a man in his ex-girlfriend and child's home.
Kadeem Louden forcibly entered the home of ex-girlfriend, Syrie Kemp on Fairburn Road in SW Atlanta on January 15th. Atlanta Police say that Louden went into the bedroom and shot Patrick Thomas before taking off.
Thomas was taken to Grady Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Louden and Kemp have a 6-year-old daughter together. Police have not said whether Kemp or the child were home at the time of the shooting.
Booked into Fulton County Jail, Louden is being charged with murder, burglary in the 1st degree, and possession of a firearm during commission of a felony.
Bond was denied in this case and his next court date is scheduled for February 2nd.
