ATLANTA - The show must go on, and the events originally scheduled in Atlanta this weekend are continuing following a massive fire that caused a bridge on Interstate 85 to collapse. This has completely shut down the heavily traveled highway through the heart of the city.

Here’s a look at the big events happening this weekend and tips on which routes to take.

Braves Game- SunTrust Park will be hosting its first exhibition game between the Atlanta Braves and New York Yankees Friday night. Game time is 7:30 p.m. Cobb DOT will proceed with its SunTrust traffic management plan and will make adjustment as needed. Click here for more.

Cobb motorists are encouraged to use CobbCommute.org to navigate and look for alternate routes to avoid heavy traffic. Plan and prepare to be patient; adjust your travel time to avoid peak traffic. Please carpool if possible and plan your day to minimize trips.

The Big South Valley Ball Tourney - The Big South National Qualifier is the nation's premier youth sporting events production and management company. Last year, Big South hosted over 1,300 teams and over 15,000 girls playing matches in front of 50,000 fans. The event began on March 31 and goes until April 2.
All divisions, all age groups will be played at the Georgia World Congress Center located at 285 Andrew Young International Blvd., N.W Atlanta, GA 30313. Courts will be located in Halls B and C at the GW
Six Flags Spring Break – School is out and there is no better way to spend your time during Spring Break then by getting your thrills on with a visit to Six Flags Over Georgia. The park will be open from April 1 - 9 for a fun and exciting Spring Break!

Atlanta Fair - The final weekend of the Atlanta Fair is here. If you want to attend the fair, it is in Turner Field's Gray lot on Ralph Abernathy Blvd. SW. MARTA buses 32, 49, or 55 serve Turner Field from Five Points Station. Check schedules for days and times of service.

Festival on Ponce - The Festival on Ponce is an Atlanta arts and crafts festival set in the historic park, Olmsted Linear Park. Visitors will enjoy the gorgeous landscape designed by one of America’s most celebrated landscape architects, Fredrick Olmsted Sr. along with over 125 displays of fine arts and crafts, folk and “outsider art”. In addition to the fine arts, there will be a children’s area and local food and beverage. Attendance is Free.

Color Run - Thousands of Color Runners will participate in The Color Run Dream Tour, Presented by Lay's at Atlanta Motor Speedway on Saturday, April 1, at 9 a.m. The Color Run Dream Tour will create a world where anything is possible, unicorns are real and foam clouds make everything better. As participants enter the magical 5k course, they experience the classic Color Zones and the brand new Foam Zone, where they're surrounded by dreamy colored foam or "clouds" as they run through the most colorful dream of all.
