- Always look at the packaging and make sure there is no intrusion.
- You would never buy a lotto card with the numbers already scratched off. The same goes for gift cards, make sure the gift card foil is not scratched off or tampered with.
- Hidden fees? Read the gift card. If it has no fees it will say, “No Fees” on the packaging.
- If there is an issue with the gift card, call the 1800 number on the card.
