Crews battle flames at Kennesaw home, 2 people received medical treatment: fire officials

According to Cobb County Fire & Emergency Services, two people received medical treatment.

KENNESAW, Ga. — Two people received medical treatment after flames broke out at a Kennesaw home Tuesday night, according to Cobb County County Fire & Emergency Services.

Officials said it happened at the 3600 block of North Hampton Drive. The home is near Winchester Forest Park and not far from Kennesaw Elementary School. 

When crews arrived at the home, Cobb County Fire said they found one victim, removed them from the smoke-filled home and gave them medical care. They were taken to the hospital, officials added. 

Additionally, fire officials said another person was treated at the scene. Both are in stable condition at this time, Cobb County Fire added.
