Two arrested after road rage tire iron attack

Two arrests made after several interviews and a comprehensive investigation
Darron Charles Webb, left, and Danielle Lee Holman

MARIETTA, Ga. -- A suspect and his accomplice are finally in custody after a road rage-fueled tire iron attack in Marietta, Georgia.

The original fight happened on the afternoon of Sept. 30 when both the victim and the suspect got out of their vehicles in the area of Roswell and Fairground streets.

According to witnesses, the confrontation began as an argument but escalated when Darron Webb struck the other man in the head with a tire iron. A woman, later identified as Danielle Holman, was also on the scene and apparently exited then re-entered the suspect's vehicle.

Police said that after several interviews and a comprehensive investigation, Holman was taken into custody. And it turns out, she was already facing a warrant for failure to appear. She now faces additional charges of aggravated assault, tampering with evidence and obstruction - all felonies.

The driver was the next to be identified - and to be found. Webb now faces a felony aggravated assault charge.
