UPDATE: Michael Emmanuel Offley has been found safe according to the Smyrna Police Department
SMYRNA, Ga. -- Police in Smyrna, Georgia are on the lookout for a missing teen who may be in danger.
According to a post by the department on the city government's social media accounts, 16-year-old Michael Emmanuel Offley disappeared around 2:40 p.m. in the area of Lincoln Trace Circle.
Family members are even more concerned because Offley has what police described as a decreased mental capacity and other severe mental health impairments. Because of these, they believe he is in grave danger.
Offley is about 5 feet 2 inches tall and 177 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue sweatshirt, black shorts that have a white stripe down the leg and a camouflage hunter's hat.
Anyone with information about Offley's location should call 911 immediately.
