ATLANTA - For two years running TEGNA Inc. -- the parent company of 11Alive -- was named the top place to work for LGBTQ employees.
The media company received a perfect score of 100 on the 2018 Corporate Equality Index which is administered by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation.

TEGNA received top marks in all categories, including non-discrimination workplace protections, domestic partner benefits, and transgender-inclusive health care benefits.
TEGNA operates in more than three dozen television markets across the country and has long been a supporter of diversity and inclusion in the LGBTQ community. Since 1992, The TEGNA Foundation has supported the Washington AIDS Partnership including a grant made this month.
