UNION CITY, Ga. -- Police have identified a man they say killed a father as he repaired his front door.
Solomon Williams was shot through the door of his Gossamer Street home in the Oakley Township subdivision Monday afternoon.
Williams' 58-year-old widow, Louisa, said that her husband was repairing a broken door when she heard a scuffle. She said Williams struggled to keep the armed intruder from getting inside the home.
"He just holding on, and the person is pushing, and my husband is pushing to close the door," she told 11Alive's Ron Jones. (Read more)
On Friday, police said Dexter Da'Ron Hubbard is wanted in Williams' murder.
