ATLANTA — Mecole Hardman Jr. had an emotional draft night.

Today, the Kansas City Chiefs rookie turned on the waterworks again, this time for his mom.

Hardman purchased a home for his mom, Danyell, and shared the video of his emotional reveal on twitter.

“It’s my turn to take care of you now,” Hardman said.

You can check out the video below:

The Chiefs drafted Hardman out of Georgia in the second draft. He left the Bulldogs as a junior, and should get a chance to bring his world-class speed to Kansas City's offense right away as a rookie.

For now, he just brought a few tears to at least a few dozen pairs of eyes.
