Discussion:
The forecast won't change much in the coming days. Warm and humid with daily showers and storms possible. Some days, however, look better than others when it comes to rain coverage.
Showers today will hold off until later in the afternoon. By 1 or 2 pm, a few isolated showers and storms will develop, but rain today will be very hit and miss.
Temperatures climb quickly, and highs will reach the low to mid 80s. With the humidity, it could feel even hotter.
Showers and storms will pick up overnight. You may wake up to a few rumbles of thunder as the rain moves through. Pockets of heavy rain, gusty winds, and even small hail are possible, but storms are not expected to turn severe.
Some areas of rain will linger for the morning commute. Isolated showers will be possible during the day on Monday, but the bulk of activity will take place in the morning.
Rinse and repeat every day this week! Isolated to scattered showers and storms remain possible with a front stalled to our north. The front will finally push through on Friday, bringing an end to the daily rain potential just in time for next weekend.
The passing cold front will also bring a drop in temperatures and humidity, allowing us to enjoy cooler, drier air and sunshine for next weekend.
We'll likely be thankful for the change - temperatures are soaring mid-week. Highs climb to the upper 80s by Wednesday, and humidity will be summer-like.
