ATLANTA -- A child is in the hospital after police say she was the victim of a hit-and-run.
It happened at about 1:30 p.m. Tuesday on the 2200 block of Sisk Street NW.
Atlanta Police say that a vehicle struck an 8-year-old girl, and then took off.
The child was transported to the hospital with a leg injury.
At this point, there was no description given of the suspect or the vehicle.
