Changes announced for Sweetwater 420 Fest | What to know

SweetWater Brewing is giving free general admission tickets to those who donate $10 to the environmental organization Waterkeeper Alliance.

ATLANTA — With just weeks away from Atlanta's jamming Sweetwater 420 Fest, organizers announced some changes on Friday.

SweetWater Brewing is giving free general admission tickets to those who donate $10 to the environmental organization Waterkeeper Alliance.

For those who have already purchased tickets, organizers said those orders have been refunded. 

In a Facebook post, organizers explained that they wanted people to support "their important work protecting clean water around the world."

The festival will be held on Saturday, April 20 and Sunday, April 21, at the Pullman Yards.

Shortly after announcing its lineup last year, SweetWater Brewing scaled back the size of its 420 Fest, moving it from Centennial Olympic Park, where it was held in past years, to its own brewery over "safety concerns."
