ATLANTA — Monday's solar phenomenon could be eclipsed by the celestial announcement of Missy Elliot's first headliner tour, which will make a stop in Atlanta this summer.

The "Supa Dupa Fly" superstar has announced the "Out of This World: The Missy Elliott Experience" will launch on July 4 and visit 24 cities before wrapping up in August. The tour will also feature Busta Rhymes, Ciara, and Timbaland.

The star-studded show will stop at State Farm Arena on July 27.

“Fans have been asking me to tour forever but I wanted to wait until I felt the time was right because I knew if I was ever going to do it, I had to do it big, and I had to do it with family!" Elliott added. "So get ready to be taken OUT OF THIS WORLD with me, Busta Rhymes, Ciara, and Timbaland! We can’t wait to share this experience with the fans!”

Tickets will be available starting with Verizon presale on Tuesday. April 9. Additional presales will run throughout the week ahead of the general ticket sale beginning Friday, April 12, at 10 a.m. at Missy-Elliott.com.
