Rolling Stones to bring 'No Filter' tour to Atlanta

The tour will stop at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on July 9.

ATLANTA — The Rolling Stones are going back on the road -- and this time they are not skipping Atlanta.

On Thursday, the Rolling Stones announced their critically acclaimed NO FILTER tour will return to North America for a 15-city run in 2020 and will make a stop in Atlanta on July 9 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

The new dates follow their record-breaking, sold-out performances of 2019, heralded by Rolling Stone as “A triumph for the World’s Greatest Rock & Roll Band.”

"It's always a pleasure to return to North America and play for some of biggest and best crowds in the world," Mick Jagger said in a news release.

The band postponed some shows in its North American tour last year because Mick Jagger had heart surgery, but the frontman returned to form to complete a slate of rescheduled shows.

Keith Richards said: "We had the best time on the road last summer and we are ready to do it again."
