Families and friends are gathering around tables for Thanksgiving meals on Thursday.
The American Farm Bureau Federation's survey shows the cost of Thanksgiving Day dinner is down by 22 cents from last year. The annual survey of classic items found that this years feast for 10 is $48.90, or less than $5 per person.
But just because the cost is down a few cents, that doesn't mean everyone would like to make their own holiday meals.
Here's a list of restaurants that will be open on Thanksgiving in metro Atlanta:
RUTH'S CHRIS STEAKHOUSE
Ruth's Chris will have locations open on Thanks giving day. Check the restaurant's website for details on the menu and the hours.

THE COLONNADE
The Colonnade, which is known for its southern food has holiday hours. The restaurant's website lists its Thanksgiving hours as 11 a.m. until 8 p.m.
SOUTH CITY KITCHEN MIDTOWN
South City Kitchen Midtown is serving a three-course meal on Thanksgiving. Come between 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
BOSTON MARKET
Boston Market plans traditional Thanksgiving meals on the holiday. Check the restaurant's website for times and locations.
ATKINS PARK RESTAURANT & BAR
Atkins Park on Virginia Avenue is planning a Thanksgiving dinner for Thursday at 3:30 p.m. They will serve smoked turkey breast, braised pork shoulder, sweet potato biscuits and more.
HUDSON GRILLE
Hudson Grille will be open for business on Thanksgiving. The entrees include roasted rosemary turkey breast with all kinds of sides.
TED'S MONTANA GRILL
Families can make reservations at Ted's to have Thanksgiving dinner there.
COWTIPPERS STEAKS & SPIRITS
Cowtippers is planning Thanksgiving meals for just $19.95 per person.
LA CASA ITALIAN GRILL
The feast at La Casa Italian Grill will be served from noon to 6 p.m. Thanksgiving Day. Adults can eat for $39.95 and children for $19.95. The restaurant is located on Old Roswell Street in Alpharetta.
CRACKER BARREL
Cracker Barrel is open for regular business hours on Thanksgiving Day! The holiday meal comes with turkey n' dressing and more!
