Holiday prank wars continue at Forsyth County Fire, Cumming Police departments

In Forsyth County, a holiday prank war is underway between the Forsyth County Fire Department and the Cumming Police Department.

FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. — Although Christmas has come to an end, the holidays are still in session. Police and firefighters often work tirelessly to make sure residents are safe throughout the holidays, but through their hard work they deserve a little fun.

In Forsyth County, a holiday prank war is underway between the Forsyth County Fire Department and the Cumming Police Department.

It all started when firefighters put a sign outside the police department reading "Dear Santa, we want a fire truck for Christmas," signed City P.D. The fire department said the prank was a continuation of a prank war started last year in their first series of Facebook posts.

In response, Cumming Police drove past the fire station at night with sirens blaring one of them towing a traffic sign that read "Shhh, fireman sleeping."

Police then posted a photo of disappointed officer after firefighters delivered empty donut boxes.

"When the box is lighter than expected! Forsyth County Fire Department’s empty donut prank had us fooled. Good times with great people. Until next year, the prank wars continue," the police department joked in their post.

Then on Christmas morning, officers looked outside their precinct to find a parked fire engine decorated with Christmas wreaths disguised as their missing donuts.

Later that day, police then posted a photo of a wrecker truck backed-up to a fire engine with a caption telling firefighters where they can pick up their engine they left.

What a great season of light-hearted fun with Cumming Police Department! Until next year, happy holidays and eat more donuts! 🍩

The fun sounds like it's barely over at the two departments.
