ATLANTA — A woman-led empowerment organization hosted its Creators Luncheon over the weekend to celebrate women of color who have made significant contributions and achievements in their industries.

The organization Color Vision held the event at The Gathering Spot on April 20 where 11Alive's Karys Belger served as the host.

The luncheon featured an awards reception and more.

"Spaces like Color Vision exist to champion the talent, resilience, and innovation of women of color, ensuring they receive the recognition, opportunities, and support they deserve," Color Vision founder Mia Davis said.

While the event was a time to honor trailblazers, the organization will also pay it forward to others. All of the event's proceeds will support Color Vision's scholarship fund for students at Historically Black Colleges and Universities.

The organization said this shows its commitment to fostering equity in creative industries through the next generation of leaders.
