ATLANTA — A shooting has left one person dead in southeast Atlanta Friday night, according to police.
Atlanta Police are on scene at a home in the 1300 block of Grant Street Southeast in the city's Chosewood Park neighborhood. Grant Street is just off McDonough Boulevard SE.
The neighborhood is just south of Peoplestown and Grant Park. The home is less than a quarter of a mile from Chosewood Park.
Police said the victim was in critical condition when they arrived but has since died. They have not confirmed the victim's age, any suspects involved or what led up to the gunfire.
