Clayton County sheriff in crash allegedly caused by DUI suspect

'The sheriff came out of the accident without any serious injuries," the Facebook post reads.

CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. — The sheriff of Clayton County was in a crash Friday evening that was allegedly caused by a DUI suspect.

Clayton County Sheriff's Office shared a post from Sheriff Victor Hill's Facebook page that says "Sheriff Victor Hill was involved in an accident tonight caused by a DUI suspect who is now in custody."

"The Sheriff came out of the accident without any serious injuries," the post said.

Along with a little information about the crash were photos of the scene in the Facebook post. You can see damage to the front-end of a black vehicle. 

The car the sheriff's was in "did not see much crime fighting action during her brief 6 months with the Sheriff’s Office," the post reads. 

The post didn't mention the suspect's name or where the accident happened.
