CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. — UPDATE: Joshua Rashad Miller has been captured. Read the full story here.

The sheriff of Clayton County issued a very clear warning to anyone who may be helping hide a suspect accused of opening fire in front of his ex-girlfriend and her kids: give him up.

Joshua Rashad Miller has been added to the top spot of Sheriff Victor Hill's most wanted list on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, aiming a pistol at another, cruelty to children and discharging a firearm on another's property.

Authorities said that on Friday, Miller went to his ex-girlfriend's house and "pointed a gun at her and her children making threats while she was in her vehicle."

"Miller then began firing shots and his ex-girlfriend drove off to avoid her and her children getting shot," the sheriff's office said.

Investigators said she drove off to keep her kids safe.

Since then, investigators have begun a manhunt for Miller. He's described as a black male with black hair and brown eyes who is about 6 feet 1 inch tall and 250 pounds. He's also considered armed and dangerous.

Right now, the sheriff's office suspects Miller has had some help hiding from their search parties. If that is the case, the sheriff is warning them that jail time may be in the future for them as well.

"The Sheriff wants all of Miller's friends to know that when we find him, we will be taking them along for the ride to 'The Hill-ton'," the sheriff's office wrote online. "Give him up or face the wall beside him."

Anyone with information about Miller's whereabouts is asked to call the sheriff's office at 770-477-4479.
