COBB COUNTY, Ga. — Two men are now behind bars after a deadly shooting in Cobb County early Friday morning, according to the Kennesaw Police Department.
Zier Green and Re'Shard Lee are facing multiple charges, including murder and drug charges, in connection to the shooting death of 21-year-old Sanifu Henry in Kennesaw, according to the police department.
The department said calls came in about a shooting near McGuire Drive.
When officers arrived at the scene just after midnight, they found evidence of a shooting but not a victim. Officers left around 4 a.m. Later, authorities received 911 calls about Henry, who had arrived at Kennestone Medical Center. Police said Henry later died at the hospital.
Authorities are still investigating the incident and are asking anyone who may have information about the incident to contact the department at 770-422-2505.
