LITHONIA, Ga. — One person is now dead and another person was injured after a Thursday night shooting in Lithonia, according to DeKalb County Police.
Details are limited, but it happened at the QuikTrip located on 2776 Panola Road. Police said that they were called to the scene for a person shot call.
When they arrived, they found two people shot. One of them was taken to the hospital while the other sadly died on scene.
Police are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident. Authorities have not released any details about a possible suspect or any details about the identity of the victims.
