ATLANTA — A man is dead following a shooting involving two groups near Magic City, according to the Atlanta Police Department.
It happened before 4 a.m.
Police said an off-duty Spelman College officer was in the area and fired shots, stating they believed the 33-year-old man who was shot and killed was one of the aggressors.
Officers are reviewing surveillance video of the incident to learn more. No other information about the number of people involved, how it started or whether anyone was arrested was released.
